Women’s Climate Centers International

Women’s Climate Centers International (WCCI), led by a partnership of women development professionals in Uganda, Kenya, South Africa, and the United States, co-creates hubs for sustainable climate solutions with vulnerable communities. WCCI addresses climate change through programming in four key areas: community conservation and restoration, climate-smart technologies, bio-intensive farming, and leadership and entrepreneurship. WCCI is also piloting a network of climate centers in Uganda and Kenya that provide localized peer-to-peer training in climate adaptation and resilience.
